PRESS RELEASE

PARKER MARINE, INC. IS ON THE MOVE AGAIN

March 26, 2008, Sheffield Village, Ohio.  Parker Marine, Inc. (PMI) of Sheffield Village, Ohio today announced their recent acquisition of property, along with their plans for expansion.  Debbie Parker, the Company Vice President, explained the family run boat service and storage business has acquired two parcels of property in the Village, formally known as “The Boat Pad”, from VanWagnen Properties, LTD.  One of the parcels on Colorado Ave in Sheffield Village, will be the new “home” for the company, where an existing 10,000 square foot warehouse facility is to undergo an “extreme makeover” which will become the new service shop and office complex for the growing company.  The second parcel, located on the Black River, will continue to be used as the companies “marina” facility, providing water access to and from Lake Erie for their customers.  PMI has an international reputation for setting the standards of excellence in the world of service and repairs to recreational watercraft.  The new PMI service shop when completed, will almost double the size of the companies present ability for boat service and repair.

The small family owned business started in Lorain, Ohio in 1978, and moved into Sheffield Village in 1986.  “The Village has been key to our success” Company President Richard Parker mentioned.  “They offer a very friendly business climate, where all departments have an appreciation for how important small business is to their community; the Fire Department, Police Department, Services, Planning and Zoning Committees all work with us,  they have always laid out the red carpet for us” he went on to say.

Mrs. Parker commented that this move comes at a great time in the history of the company, which this year is celebrating its 30th anniversary.  “Our family and staff couldn’t be any happier about how the timing of this whole thing has played out” Mrs. Parker remarked.  “We have had this project in the works for the last four years, it is truly rewarding to see it actually finally happening” and went on to say “in this era of uncertain economic times, we feel confident with this step into the future, we have been truly blessed over the years with many wonderful, loyal customers. “The VanWagnen Family has helped us tremendously; they have helped us to grow our business over the last thirty years, and have diligently worked with us with this transaction to make it possible” she explained.  “We would also like to thank the Keybank commercial/SBA lending team for their unwavering support, and Star, Inc. of Amherst.  Star has been instrumental in helping us to plan this project and will be the General Contractor for the new PMI Home.”  PMI hopes to have the makeover completed and be moving into their new facility early this summer.
